SIEF Agreements

Lead Registrants started sending out SIEF Agreements to potential registrants in June and the pace is speeding up. The agreements are mostly based on standard models, but many of them also include individual modifications. Examples of such modifications include duration of the agreements and information provided by the Lead Registrants, forcing the Letter of Access purchasers to secure rights to data themselves or prepare their own Chemical Safety Reports (CSR). For companies purchasing the letters of access it is crucial to find out what they commit to when signing the contracts.
