Poison Centre Notifications in EU countries

In order to comply with Article 45(1) of Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008 importers and downstream users (DUs) need to submit to the appointed Member State national poison centres, information about their mixtures placed on the market and classified as hazardous on the basis of their health and physical effects. At the moment each Member State has its own requirements and formats, however the EU Commission aims to set harmonised rules that will apply across the EU and are specified on the Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/542 which will enter into force on 1 January 2020.
