Questions and Answers webinar on EAEU GOST Standard 30333-2007

1st of December 2020
Placing chemical products on the Russian market?

According to the TR041, all companies placing chemical products on the Eurasian Economic Union – Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia – are required to have GOST 30333-2007 compliant Chemical Safety Passports (CSP) . The requirement of having GOST 30333-2007 compliant CSP will become mandatory once TR041 enters into force, which is currently discussed to be postponed to the 30th of November 2022. Moreover, CSP will be provided for the manual authority check during chemical product registration stage according to the applicable registration deadline. The registration deadline depends on whether chemical product is a substance or a mixture and the annual tonnage placed on the EAEU market.

GOST 30333-2007 compliant CSP can be compared to a more extensive version of the REACH compliant Safety Data Sheet excluding Exposure Scenarios. During this webinar we will provide information on GOST 30333-2007 and discuss practicalities of chemical safety passports preparation comparing to REACH compliant SDS.
