From the 23rd of June 2017, when the Turkish Regulation KKIDIK entered into force, companies placing chemical substances on the Turkish market at volumes of 1 tonne per year or more have had the possibility to pre-registering their substances to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization (MoEU) in Turkey. By the end of this year – 31st of December, 2020 – companies must have pre-registered their substances to the MoEU if they want to continue placing their chemicals containing these substances on the Turkish market. Additionally, companies will need to start preparing for the next challenge. KKDIK Registration, which will start right after the pre-registration deadline, on the 1st of January 2021 and continue until 31st of December 2023.
