Turkey KKDIK Registration Deadline Postponement – What does it mean?
14th of December 2023
Take part in our webinar
The Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change (MoEUCC) announced recently that the Turkey KKDIK registration deadlines will be revised based on a ““Tonnage Based Gradual Transition” approach. The details of the deadline postponement, and related regulatory changes, will be published separately in a formal circular by the MoEUCC whereby the deadline extensions will be official.
The proposed registration deadlines are likely to be 31 December 2026, 31 December 2028, and 31 December 2030, depending on the annual tonnage band and hazards of the substance.
This webinar hosted by REACHLaw will go through the latest developments around the registration deadline postponements. Furthermore, we will discuss the potential effects this will have on businesses placing substances on the Turkish market depending on where they are currently in the registration process.
Therefore, if your business places chemical substances on the Turkish market subject to KKDIK registration requirement, we invite you to joint this webinar on Thursday 14 December 2023 where you will also have the option to ask questions.
Topics covered in the webinar:
- A brief overview of KKDIK
- Proposed registration deadline postponement
