A Short Recap:
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has approved a three-year extension for UK REACH transitional registration deadlines, now set for October 27 in 2026, 2028, and 2030, based on substances tonnage band and hazard classification. The Statutory Instrument “The REACH (Amendment) Regulations 2023” that set specific registration deadlines for different substances. (SI 2023 No. 722) was published on June 28, 2023 and took effect on July 19, 2023, officially delaying the transitional registration deadlines under Article 127P.
