31 December 2020 was the KKDIK pre-registration deadline and thousands of chemicals were pre-registered to the Turkish Ministry of Environment (MoEU) by Turkish manufacturers and importers, and Turkish Only representatives (ORs) appointed by Non-Turkish companies. Companies that missed the pre-registration deadline but would like to KKDIK pre-register their substances can still pre-register and are advised to do so as soon as possible to the MoEU to avoid business interruptions as pre-registrations must be in place for all substances subject to KKDIK registration starting 1.1.2021.
