Placing hazardous mixtures in the Spanish market?
On the 8th of May, 2013 entered into force, the Ministerial Decree JUS/836/2013 that requires importers and downstream users placing dangerous mixtures on the Spanish market (marketing companies), to notify their products to the Spanish National Institute of Toxicology and Forensic Sciences (INTCF). This said, marketing companies must submit a notification dossier to the INTCF, per each product’s brand name, placed on the Spanish market. The notification dossier must include the toxicological data of each substance contained in the mixture.
Prior to start the notification work, any company involved in the notification procedure (consultant, supplier, marketing company) must be registered in the SRE (Enterprise System Data Base of the Spanish Ministry of Justice), as the product notification dossier needs to be submitted to the INTCF, via the SRE system.
